| Over the past four years I have been visiting various sites in the Scottish highlands searching for Azure Hawkers. I was beginning to think that they didn't exist because I had not even seen one, but in the summer of 2007 my luck had changed and I finally got the chance to photograph one. This is an image of a Male basking in the early morning, a classic habit of doing so on rocks and boulders. |
