Blue-tailed Damselfly Small World Spectaculars Highly Honoured, Natures Best 2009 The best time to photograph insects is during the very early hours of the morning before they have had the chance to warm up. The trick is in finding one as they will be very well hidden from predators like birds. I found this Blue-tailed Damselfly perched amongst some long grass; it couldn't fly but kept trying to hide behind the stem it was resting on. |
