Red Deer Headgear Animal Portraits Highly Commended, Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2005 Bradgate Park in Leicestershire is a fantastic location for photography, especially during the autumn months. The park supports a large population of Red Deer and during October the ritual rut reaches its frenetic peak. This large stag was so busy defending his harem of females I was able to get within twenty feet of him and take this image, it remains one of my favourite images. |
