Image of the Month
The Barn Owl is one of the most beautiful and Iconic species found in the UK. It has drastically declined throughout it's range because of habitat loss and now only certain areas support this wonderful Owl. The county of Norfolk can still boast of a healthy population and so each winter I go and try my luck at photographing them. I mainly work along the North Norfolk coastline and I have been going on and off since January. Most of the time I just sat in my hide looking out across to an empty field but every so often I was rewarded for my patience and managed to get a series of images of one as it hunted the rough grassland, searching for Voles.
