Barn Owl Hunting at Dusk

Barn Owls are one of the most enigmatic Birds in the UK and to see one quartering at dusk as it intensely hunts for small rodents is a fantastic experience. I have been working with Barn Owls now on and off for many years and just lately have been able to put more time and effort into obtaining images of this beautiful Owl. This one had heard the sound of a rodent and was hovering just above it before finally pouncing onto its prey.
