Otters Play fighting

Over the past two years I have been travelling to many parts of Europe in search of images, either for my own personal projects or leading tours through natures images. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining because I have been to some amazing places and photographed some beautiful subjects but I miss what I really wanted to do as a nature photographer and that is get my teeth into a project and work on a certain subject for longer periods of time. This winter I have gone back to my roots and worked on an Otter family on the west coast of Scotland. I have had some amazing encounters with this family and this one has so far been my best. This is an image of the young cubs play fighting whilst they were resting with their mother who is just out of shot.
